I can’t think of anything I disliked about this book. It kept me engaged and trying to solve the mystery on my own while the facts were gradually uncovered.
A detective is assigned to a suspicious murder. There are lots of potential suspects in the small harbor town where everyone seems to know each other. It’s her job to gather evidence and determine who is not telling the truth to narrow down and find the killer. She starts to feel things for someone associated with the victim. Balancing that with her duty creates some challenges along the way.
I guess I’m late to the game since this was released several years ago. But apparently there are two more in a series, so on the plus side, I don’t have to wait for more.
This was very good.
