Survivors
This was recommended and I didn’t even read the description before reading it. What a surprise!
I wasn’t expecting the darkness, massacre, and suspense that followed.
This story is told in first person by three characters. I usually prefer the basic third person approach, but this style elevated the fear and thrill of what was to come.
I liked the two main characters, Tory and Peyton. A relationship formed from an unthinkable event. The unstated comparison between the real fate of their encounter vs. the percieved fate of the unstable Bradley was not lost on me.
Overall this is a good book. It struggled with pacing a little, but that would be hard to prevent with three different authors contributing.
I recommend to those who enjoy reading romance, tragedy, weddings, survival, and grumpy cats.
