This was another one I didn’t leave a review for the first time I read it. Huh. Look. This book was fire. If you haven’t read it, then get to it.
This is my second read. I guess I didn’t review this the first time through. Not much to say except… PERFECTION.
This was an extremely touching book with a double dose of love story within its pages. Bailey and Chelsea start out in a broken relationship state. Travel and too much time away from each other has created a chasm that Chelsea feels is too much to overcome. They choose to end their 9 year relationship.
I don’t know why I do this to myself. I pick these books that are high on the sexual activity spectrum even though I can barely get through scenes without blushing and having to skim read.
It’s a cruel world I got this through Kindle Unlimited, but I will make sure to purchase. Books this good deserve that type of support.
Second Read I liked it better the second time around. But this time I felt that some of the descriptions of music at the philharmonic and a sex scene could have been cut down a bit to help the story flow better in those spots.—————
Second Read It felt even deeper the second time around. I was able to really pay attention to the details and it made it even more moving, if that’s possible. Too good.
