Book Review: Romancing The Kicker by Catherine Lane
This was a nice, sports-themed, romance. I thought that the idea of a Vegas arena and the team name ‘The Rollers’ was creative. I wish we were this close to having a female NFL kicker.

Kissy Cake This was an adorable, New Years themed, short story. Even though the length was small, it still had the feel of a full length book. The characters had suprising depth. And it was packed full of things. Kilts, family, whiskey, unemployment, workplace harassment, art, cars, brain nerds, cakes, exes, infidelity, higher education, bathrooms, […]
I really don’t like giving negative reviews, but it was honestly difficult for me to get through this book. Ava, a famous violinist, meets Bianca on a bench. After a time gap they reunite and find they will be spending a lot of time together traveling. Conflicts and misunderstandings ensue.
Second read Seriously. If you haven’t read this, you need to. How can something so wrong feel so right? The characters are so unique and lovable. Flowridia and her shy but not innocent ways. Etolie and her drunken humor. Thalmus and his giant protectiveness. Ayla and her gruesome mutilating yet betraying tender heart. Also, the […]
I had never heard of Andrea Gibson before reading this book of poetry. I definitely know her now. In fact, very intimately as a result of her vulnerability and frank openness.
‘Ask Me Again’ is a deeply moving continuation of ‘Ask, Tell.’ It felt as if I was a spectator (or fly on the wall) throughout this entire story. And it was uncomfortable. I imagine Noyes did PTSD justice. It was horrifying to watch Sabine struggle with the changes, actions, and feelings she could not prevent. […]
I’m glad this one was recommended to me. Both the past and current stories interwoven throughout the story were gratifyingly mysterious.
No idea what happened This must have been way above me. All these great reviews and I’ve finished it wondering what the heck I just read.
Wow, this book was good. Aside from a very few editing issues, this was practically perfect for me.
This was another one I didn’t leave a review for the first time I read it. Huh. Look. This book was fire. If you haven’t read it, then get to it.
