So I have decided that I like Abby Craden’s narration of books. I think I will just have to lean on listening to hers going forward for good audio book experiences.
Zoe is a great employee and has a big crush on the CEO, Reyna. Zoe’s friends and psychiatrist think she is sabotaging herself from real connection by focusing on the unattainable.
This was OK. I listened on audio. Friend Jill sounded like a sportscaster calling a football game on ESPN. Elle sounded like a 60s homemaker wife.
Breathless. That is what you will be feeling several times throughout this book as Jem and Rosie find themselves in intense scenarios time and again. Jem is an asthmatic paramedic. Rosie is a hairdressing police officer. They meet when called to the same scene early on.
This is the sequel to ‘Keepers of the Cave.’ We get to spend time with Paige and CJ again. In this installment, they have a new case to investigate while trying to hide their growing relationship from their FBI comrades.
I could not wait for this follow-up to ‘Three Reasons To Say Yes.’ When you love a book so much, there is always the fear that your high expectations will not be met with future installments. No worries with this one.
This audio book was OK with the exception of CJ’s voice. She sounded like a 70 year old 2 pack a day smoker. Alternatively, Paige’s voice sounded sexy as hell to me. Oh…and Ice’s voice was strange. The performance of the book was great. All the right emotions and inflections.
