Book Review: The One Who Eats Monsters by Casey Matthews
It’s a cruel world I got this through Kindle Unlimited, but I will make sure to purchase. Books this good deserve that type of support.

Shouldn’t have been THAT complicated. I just have to say right off that I was totally into this book. It was hard to get into at first because I’m not used to whatever ghetto latina language that was going on within the Torres family and friends.
‘Unexpected Lightning’ is the 3rd book in the ‘Lightning’ series. I did not read the first two prior to this one and there was no need to. The author successfully referenced previous things with enough explanation to understand what was going on. So this can be read as a standalone.

Canoodling This ended up being OK after a rough start. I did read reviews that mentioned light BDSM. So I thought maybe a scene or two for fun. But no. This is a huge part of the main character, Tara.
My Fake Canadian Wife is a cute novella about a Brazilian woman, Isa(Dora) living in Canada who needs to find a way to stay because she didn’t quite take care of her Visa status.
I wanted to love this as much as everyone else. One of the reviews likened this to ‘Letters Never Sent’ which is one of my favorites. This just wasn’t it for me.
