Book Review: As Long As Love Lasts by Jea Hawkins
I wanted to love this as much as everyone else. One of the reviews likened this to ‘Letters Never Sent’ which is one of my favorites. This just wasn’t it for me.

Intense moments Full of angst. Couldn’t get enough of it. Sadie is a 30 something single mother of a 17 year old daughter, Destiny, who had just become a professional tennis player.
Second Read It felt even deeper the second time around. I was able to really pay attention to the details and it made it even more moving, if that’s possible. Too good.
Captivating A beautiful story of attraction and love that can’t be suppressed. Claudette finds work on the Railway in a rural town. She is the only woman on the job and it is only by favor of her father’s influences.
Another good one from McCallan I love, Love, LOVE stories where the main characters don’t get a long in the beginning. The author was able to successfully illustrate concurrent tension, conflict, and attraction.

This was such a wonderful and heartwarming story. I choked up at times and felt uplifted in others. There is a kid that is Central to the plot but not one of those annoying baby talk and whiny kind. Gabe was an ‘old soul’ with some spunky attitude. A tragic loss in Gabes’s life forces […]

Heather is a scout for a major music label, recently promoted after her mentor was fired for being gay. She has to live […]
It was hard for me to get into this book at first. It was difficult for me to follow for some reason. But after the first chapter, it found a rhythm. Jessica is a corporate tech leader who finds herself at the center of a massive systems failure that causes a disastrous drop in company […]
The first half of this book was very good. It even invoked a nice tear fest. Val works in a library. Because of her experience as a foster kid, she decides that she would like to begin fostering children. During the weeks of training, she meets and becomes interested in the instructor, Paige. However, there […]
